Baseline Measurement Dashboard
Bee Friendly Farming members are invited to trial a pilot version of the Bee Friendly Farming Baseline Measurement Dashboard.
The Dashboard is a baseline measurement tool to help farmers and land managers monitor pollinator-supporting practices on their properties.
The Dashboard provides an overview of current conditions and creates a benchmark for continuous improvement. It helps document Bee Friendly Farming members’ efforts to support pollinator health and biodiversity.
What the Dashboard records:
- Flowering plant species: Number and density of flowering plant species, timing of bloom and area covered
- Land management: The different types of land use and the percentage of the property they represent
- Pollinators: Number and types of pollinators observed
- Integrated pest and pollinator management (IPPM): Area managed using IPPM practices
- Water sources: Number and type of water sources available to pollinators
This pilot version is an early release to help members explore the tool’s functionality and provide feedback before a wider rollout across the Bee Friendly Farming program.
